Gangubai Kathiawadi OTT Release Time is announced soon after Netflix confirmed its release on the platform, on April 26, 2022. This Alia Bhatt starrer has gone on to garner over 200 crore at the box office and emerged as a massive hit, post its theatrical release on February 25, 2022.

Starring Alia Bhatt, Shantanu Maheshwari, Ajay Devgn, Vijay Raaz, and Jim Sarbh in pivotal roles, Gangubai Kathawadi is based on life of Gangubai Harjeevandas, widely known as Gangubai Kothewali or Gangubai Kathiyawadi. An activist and madam of a brothel in Kamathipura district of Mumbai in the 60s Gangubai worked for the betterment of the quality of lives of prostitutes, and orphans and fought for their right to respectfully live in this society, education, etc.

Gangubai Kathiawadi OTT Release Time: When and Where to Watch. 

Netflix India took to Twitter on April 22, 2022, with the teaser of Gangubai Kathiawadi teaser attached to it. The announcement revealed that the movie will now be released on Netflix on April 26, 2022. The caption stated, “Chilla chilla ke sabko bata do, aarahi hai Gangu #GangubaiKathiawadi is arriving on April 26th”.

This Sanjay Leela Bhansali film is based on selected chapters of Hussain Zaidi and Jane Borges’ book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. The movie includes a stellar cast with Alia Bhatt as Gangubai/Ganga, Seema Pahwa playing Sheela Mausi, Varun Kapoor playing Ganga’s cheating lover Ramnik Lal, and Indira Tiwari playing Gangubai’s best friend Kamli, Afsaan, played by Shantanu Maheshwari. Extended cameo appearances by Ajay Devgn as Karim Lala, Vijay Raaz as Raziabai, and Jim Sarbh play pivotal roles. Huma Qureshi makes a guest appearance in a song called Shikayat.

"With Netflix confirming the premier of GanguBai Kathiawadi on the platform on April 26, 2022, it will most likely be released at 12:00 am IST. However, no official announcement of the time has been done yet.
