Good news for Gal Gadot's fans, She will once again adorn the character of wonder woman on the big screen. Gal Gadot confirmed that she will be doing Wonder Woman 3 under DC Co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran.
Gal Gadot expressed her admiration for the Wonder Woman series during her interaction with ComicBook.com's Chris Killian. Gadot revealed she will be collaborating with James Gunn and Peter Safran for the project.
Gal Gadot To Star In Wonder Woman 3
She said, "I love portraying Wonder Woman. It's so close to and dear to my heart. From what I heard from James and Peter is that we're gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together."
Gal Gadot and Wonder Woman are synonyms, she was first featured in the film Wonder Woman in 2017 and the second time in the 2020 sequel, Wonder Woman 1984. Now the audience will see her in the Third installment. Patty Jenkins directed the last two installments of the series.
In December 2022, the Wonder Woman sequel was said to be shelved, reportedly citing the new leadership at the company. Patty Jenkins also clarified that Wonder Woman 3 was not shelved because of her and was open to anything.
It was also speculated that Gadot might not star in the film as Jenkins won't be directing the third part of the Wonder Woman series. However, with this confirmation, Gadot dismissed the rumours. Also, there is no official announcement or denial on it from DC yet.
Wonder Woman has been close to Gadot's heart as she could relate to it the most. Once she said that Wonder Woman aka Diana Prince is relatable, has the heart of a human and is very compassionate.
In the latest, Gadot has her upcoming Netflix thriller Heart of Stone to mesmerise her fans. The movie stars Gadot as a spy named Rachel Stone. The movie will be streaming on Netflix on August 11, 2023. The film will also mark the Hollywood debut of Indian actor Alia Bhatt.
