Gal Gadot Congratulates Heart Of Stone Co-Star Alia Bhatt On Becoming A Mom

Congratulations are in abundance for actors Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, who welcomed their first child, a baby daughter on Sunday (November 6). The duo was spotted arriving at the HN Reliance Hospital in South Mumbai earlier on Sunday morning. Soon after the news surfaced, several popular celebs sent their wishes to the famous couple.

Bhatt soon would be making her Hollywood debut with the action thriller, Heart of Stone. Her co-star in the film, Gal Gadot, has congratulated the Gangubai Kathiawadi actor on the birth of a baby girl.

Gal Gadot dropped a comment in the comments section of Alia's post announcing the news. Alia had written, "And in the best news of our lives: Our baby is here.. and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love - blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!!! love, love, love. Alia and Ranbir."

Gal Gadot commented on the post late Sunday night. She wrote “Congratulations” along with a heart emoticon and party confetti icons.

Alia had flown to the UK in May to shoot the film. She essays the role of Keya Dhawan in Heart of Stone. Directed by Tom Harper, the film also stars Jamie Dornan, Sophie Okonedo, Matthias Schweighöfer, Jing Lusi, and Paul Ready. It will release on Netflix.

Last month, the Kapoors and Alia's friends organised an intimate baby shower ceremony at the couple's Mumbai residence Vastu. Alia shared dreamy pictures from the celebrations and captioned the post as, "just...love," followed by yellow heart emoticons. The ceremony was attended by Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima, Karisma, Shweta Bachchan, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Mahesh Bhatt and others.

Meanwhile, on the work front, both Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are basking in the success of their recently released film Brahmastra. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie also featured Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. Next up, Alia will be seen in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani alongside Ranveer Singh. Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, has Animal and Luv Ranjan's untitled with Shraddha Kapoor in his lineup.
