Know All About Thriller 'Freddy' Starring Alaya F And Kartik Aaryan

In a fresh pairing on-screen, Ekta Kapoor has signed actors Kartik Aryan and Alaya F for a new film, Freddy. The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh, notably known for directing 'Veere Di Wedding' and 'Khoobsurat'. Produced by Northern Lights Films and Balaji Telefilms, the thriller flick will soon have a direct release on OTT.

Freddy is supposedly a nail-biting thriller featuring Kartik Aaryan in a never-before-seen avatar alongside Alaya F of the Jawaani Jaaneman fame.

Freddy to release on OTT

The cast and crew of the film took to their social media to announce the film's release on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. With Freddy, Kartik Aaryan will now join the Hotstar family with the film released directly on the platform. The Head of Content at Disney+ Hotstar Gaurav Banerjee stated the platform is elated to bring Aaryan on board considering the versatility he has displayed in his previous films.

Sharing the film's poster, Kartik Aaryan wrote, "Slow And Steady Win The Race. Be ready to enter the world of Freddy."

The makers revealed another poster of the film in which Aaryan is seen in a serious avatar, "Dr Freddy GinwalaAppointments opening soon," revealed Hotstar. Aaryan had earlier shared that Freddy is a huge opportunity for him to experiment with his craft. "Freddy has enabled me to experiment with my craft and explore new territory. I'm looking forward to the movie releasing on Disney+ Hotstar soon," he ">declared.

Aaryan can be seen dressed as a doctor in the poster, holding a set of dentures with blood-soaked fingers. Social media users found the posters jaw-dropping and are impressed with the film reveal.

On the work front, Aaryan will soon be seen in Rohit Dhawan's Shehzada opposite Kriti Sanon. He will also lead the cast of Satyaprem ki Katha alongside his Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 co-star Kiara Advani. He has also signed the much-awaited Aashiqui 3. Alaya F who won the Best Debut Female Filmfare Award for Jawaani Jaaneman garnered positive attention for her role in which she played a daughter to Saif Ali Khan. Alaya will also be seen in U-Turn produced by Ekta Kapoor. It will be intriguing to watch her in Freddy in a refreshing pairing with Kartik Aaryan.
