This festive month, Amazon-Prime-Video is bringing some banger web series full of action, dark love drama, supernatural fantasies, superheroes, and action crime dramas that will fit everyone's preferred genre.
Here is a curated list of September show releases on Amazon Prime Video.
1) Wilderness
In the backdrop of Taylor Swift's darkest song Look What You Made Me Do the trailer follows the chilling gruesome love tale that drastically takes an awry turn when a couple's happily-ever-after quickly spiralled into a tale of a nightmare as the two are caught up in an affair drama and vengeance.
The series is based on the novel of the same name by B.E. Jones. It stars Mia Goth and Logan Marshall-Green as Liv and Will, a couple who go on a camping trip to try to save their marriage. However, things take a dark turn when Liv discovers that Will has been having an affair.

3) Gen V
The makers of The Boys are coming up with the Spin-off of one of the most popular series on Amazon Prime Video. Gen V is once again following the theme of a dark and twisted take on superheroes. The series is set in Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes—preferably with lucrative endorsements. This reminded me a little of Netflix's show The Umbrella Academy.
The show is described as a "ribald college comedy" that will explore the lives of hormonal, competitive superheroes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test. It will also delve into the dark secrets of Godolkin University and the corrupt world of Vought International.
If you are a fan of The Boys, then you will definitely want to check out Gen V. It looks like it will be a hilarious and irreverent take on the superhero genre with gruesome scenes, dark satirical comedy, and a great fighting sequence.
Release Date: September 29
