First Look Of Girls Generation’s Yoona In Upcoming Film Miracle Released

Yoona in Miracle: K-pop singer Yoona will soon be seen on screen with actors Park Jung Min, Lee Soo Kyung, and Lee Sung Min in the upcoming romantic film Miracle. A series of stills from the film have now found their way to the Internet, giving fans a peak into Yoona's character in the film. Yoona was a part of K-pop girl band Girls’ Generation.

Hailed as a top celebrity figure in the South Korean entertainment industry, Yoona has taken up a new project in which she plays the lead character of Ra Hee in an upcoming film Miracle. The film is a fictional account of a real-life incident that took place in 1986.

The storyline of the film revolves around a math genius named Jun Kyung who lives in the countryside of North Gyeongsang Province in South Korea. Jun Kyung’s life goal is to bring a train stop to his village as it takes him five hours even just to commute to his school. Jun Kyung will be played by Park Jung Min.

Both Jun Kyung and Ra Hee will essay the roles of high school students. Yoona, on the other hand, will play a key character in the film, reportedly as a love interest to Kyung's character.

Miracle is written and produced by director Lee Jang Hoon. Other actors in the cast include actor Lee Soo Kyung who plays Jun Kyung’s supportive older sister. Actor Lee Sung Min will be seen as the math prodigy’s father and a dedicated engineer.

Alongside her career as a K-pop artist, Yoona began working as an actor 2008 onwards. Her most noted works include You Are My Destiny, Love Rain, Prime Minister and I . She also featured in South Korean drama The K2. Read more on her here.
