FIR Against Gauri Khan Over Property Issue: 5 Things To Know

Gauri Khan, a well-known interior designer and wife of the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, is currently facing legal issues after an FIR was filed against her in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The FIR was filed at the Sushant Golf City police station in Lucknow and is being prosecuted under Indian Penal Code (IPC) Section 409 (criminal breach of trust). Anil Kumar Tulsiyani, the managing director of Tulsiyani Construction and Development Limited; Mahesh Tulsiyani, the director; and Gauri Khan, the brand ambassador, have all been named in the FIR.

• The complaint was made by Mumbai resident Kirat Jaswant Shah, who claims that despite paying the full price for the apartment, he has not yet received possession.
• The disputed apartment is situated in Lucknow's Tulsiani Golf View development in the Sushant Golf City neighbourhood.
• Even after receiving payment of about Rs. 86 lakhs, they (Anil Kumar Tulsiyani, Mahesh Tulsiyani and Gauri Khan) are accused of failing to deliver a flat to a buyer.

• In the complaint, which was submitted by a Mumbai resident, they are charged with criminal breach of trust under Section 409 of the Indian Penal Code.
• The purchaser claims that Gauri Khan's promotion of the development had an impact on his choice to purchase the apartment. She is regarded as one of Bollywood's top interior decorators and has decorated the homes of a number of famous people, including Sidharth Malhotra, Farah Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Gauri Khan recently paid a visit to Pooja Dadlani, the manager of SRK, at her recently renovated home in Mumbai. Khan herself had decorated the interior of the home. Shah Rukh Khan and their son Aryan Khan also arrived with her. The Khan family did not, however, pose for the photographers who were waiting outside Dadlani's house.

The FIR against Gauri was filed at a time when Shah Rukh was enjoying the success of his most recent hit movie, Pathaan. The action-packed film, directed by Siddharth Anand, crossed the Rs. 1000 crore mark globally and the Rs. 500 crore net mark in Hindi within a month of its release.
