Major is a Telugu biographical action film that was released in 2022. The film is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The film is a heartfelt tribute to Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and his family. The plot revolves not only around the courage and patriotism of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan but also the sacrifices of his family.

The film beautifully portrays the emotional turmoil and sacrifices the lonely wife of an army officer had to make. It shows the sacrifices of the parents, who desperately pray for their son’s wellbeing. Advi Shesh plays Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, and Saiee Manjrekar plays Isha, his spouse. The film is written by Advi Sesh, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, and produced by Sony Pictures International and G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment.

Shershaah

Shershaah is a 2021 Bollywood biographical war drama. It was based on the life of Indian Army officer Vikram Batra, who was martyred in the Kargil War. He was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, the highest award in the Indian military. The cast of the film includes Sidharth Malhotra, who played Captain Vikram Batra. Kiara Advani played Dimple Cheema, Bhatra’s fiancée.

The film narrates the story of Lieutenant Captain Vikram Batra’s unparalleled courage and contribution to India’s victory. It also gives us a glimpse into Vikram Batra’s childhood and personal life. The film was directed by Vishnuvardan and produced by Dharma Productions and Kaash Entertainment.

Uri: The Surgical Strike

Uri: The Surgical Strike is a Bollywood military action film released in 2019. The movie is based on the surgical strike conducted by the Indian Army against militant launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) in 2016. It is a retaliation attack after 19 Indian soldiers were killed and 30 others injured. The film is a fictionalised version of the true events.

Raazi is a Bollywood spy thriller film released in 2018. The film is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat, a real-life story about a 20-year-old Kashmiri woman. The film tells the story of a young Kashmiri woman, Sehmat Khan Syed (Alia Bhatt), who marries Syed Iqbal (Vicky Kaushal), a Pakistani army officer, in order to spy on Pakistan during the 1971 Indian-Pakistan War. Thuppaki, meaning "gun," is a 2012 Tamil action thriller. The film was directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by V Creations. Vijay plays the lead role in the film.
