Filmfare Awards 2024: Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor Win Big; See Full List

The 69th instalment of the Filmfare Awards unfolded on Sunday in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, with Karan Johar as the host. The ceremony also observed performances by celebrities like Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, and Kartik Aaryan, among others.

The 69th Filmfare Awards showcased a diverse array of winners, celebrating excellence in Indian cinema. 12th Fail emerged triumphant as the Best Film in the Popular category, while Joram earned critical acclaim as the Best Film by Critics. Vidhu Vinod Chopra was honoured with the Best Director award for his exceptional work in 12th Fail, while Ranbir Kapoor's stellar performance in Animal secured him the Best Actor in a Leading Role title. Vikrant Massey's poignant portrayal in 12th Fail garnered him the Critics' Choice Best Actor award. 

Alia Bhatt's remarkable performance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani earned her the Best Actress in a Leading Role recognition, while Rani Mukerji was lauded by critics for her role in Mrs Chatterjee vs. Norway. She shared this award with Shefali Shah for her role in Three Of Us. 

Moreover, Vicky Kaushal's compelling performance in Dunki earned him the Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male) award, and Shabana Azmi's talent shone in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, earning her the Best Actress in a Supporting Role accolade.
