Meet The Female Cast Of Malayalam Film Malik

Malik Cast: Malayalam movie Malik starring Fahadh Faasil is going to be directly released on the OTT platform said, film producer Anto Joseph. Further, he added that this decision is taken due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and a financial crunch.

Anto Joseph said in his statement, "These films will only recover their production costs only if 100 per cent occupancy is allowed. Since there is no clarity on when the theatres will reopen and given the existing economic hurdles, I’m trying for an OTT release for these films."

The female cast of Malik

The film Malik is written as well as directed by Mahesh Narayanan. It is a political drama film that revolves around the life of young Sulaiman Malik played by Faasil. Malik rises to prominence through his unswerving fight against the political and police corruption prevalent in his coastal village. The film spans from his childhood to the present day with a series of life events of Malik's life and how they affected him. Meet the female cast of the movie.

1. Nimisha Sajayan

Nimisha Sajayan is a 24-year-old actor prominently seen in Malayalam films. She has received critical acclaim for her work in movies like Eeda (2018), Oru Kuprasidha Payyan (2018). Sajayan also starred in the recent movie called The Great Indian Kitchen of 2021. In the movie Malik, Nimisha Sajayan plays the role of Malik's wife, Mihrunissa Sulaiman.

2. Maala Parvathi

Maala Parvathi is a part of different professions like acting and anchoring on the TV. She is also a psychologist and Public relations professional from Kerala. She has done anchoring for Asianet and she entered the film industry in 2007. In the movie Malik, Parvathi plays the role of Philomena who is Sulaiman's friend's mother.

3. Divya Prabha

Prabha is best known for her role in the 2017 film Take Off. She won the Kerala State Television Award for Best Second Actress for her performance in the TV serial Eswaran Sakshiyayi. In Malik, she plays the role of Malik's twin sister.

4. Jalaja

Jalaja is prominently known for her work in the 70s and 80s in the Malayalam film industry. She has also won the  Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress in 1981. Jalaja is known for both art-house and commercial films. In the film Malik, Jalaja plays Malik's mother, Lyla Begum.
