Female Cast of Six: Six is an upcoming mini web series that follows a murder mystery investigation of a wealthy businessman. Six women from the deceased’s life are the major suspects.

The web series by Disney+ Hotstar is a murder mystery that aims to captivate its audience with the plot. The story revolves around the murder of Kashish Sura, a wealthy businessman on New Year’s Eve. Sura’s character is played by actor Sid Makkar.

In the process of the investigation, the investigating officer, Ruhana Dhulap (Mandira Bedi) finds out six suspects who are all women. These women are all unaware of each other’s existence but were all present near Sura on the night of his murder. This leads the investigators to find an answer to the big question: Which of these women killed him and what was the motive?

Mandira Bedi

Mandira Bedi is a 49-year-old actor who plays the character of the investigating officer Ruhana Dhulap. Bedi’s character is reportedly persistent, smart, and sharp-witted. She will be seen handling the murder case of Kashish Sura and intensely question the suspected women inside an investigation room in the trailer.

Bedi said that the series is fast-paced and will surely catch the attention of its viewers. “The series is so fast-paced and nerve-wracking that it’ll keep audiences on the edge of their seats right till the end”. The actor added, “I can say for sure, this one’s going to have you glued all the way till you find out what happens.”

Dipannita Sharma

Actor Dipannita Sharma plays one of the murder suspects of Kashish Sura. In the official trailer, she can be seen confidently stating that she is not the murderer and that Sura is only a business partner. “Unfortunately I’m not the murderer,” Sharma’s character said to the officer.

Sharma was recently seen in another web series murder mystery Raat Baaki Hai in which she was seen on screen with actors Anup Soni and Paoli Dam. Read more about that here.

Nauheed Cyrusi

Nauheed Cyrusi is also one of the six suspected women. She claims that she does not understand anything the investigators are saying in the trailer. The 38-year-old also recently starred in the hit Netflix Original series Bombay Begums which also focused on five ambitious women. Read more on that here.

Cyrusi is a well-known actor, model and VJ.

Sulaghna Panigrahi

Sulaghna Panigrahi plays the alleged mistresses of the business tycoon. The trailer shows her character enjoying a drink with Kashish Sura before his death. In response to the death, she said, “I’m so so hurt” dramatically to the police officer.

Manasi Rachh

Manasi Rachh debuted in 2011 Bollywood with Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge. She was also part of Karan Johar's Student of the Year. The trailer of the murder mystery begins with the murder scene of Kashish Sura where he is seen being strangled in his car. Rachh’s character said, “I did not strangle him” in the investigation room.

In the trailer, Rachh is also seen asking the officer if she can switch on the air conditioner inside the investigating room because she felt hot.

Urmilla Kothare

Yet another suspected mistress of the murdered man, actor Urmila Kothare’s character can be seen panicking and being more nervous than other women when investigated from the trailer.

Kothare is a Kathak dancer and acted in Marathi films.

Vibhoutee Sharma

Chandigarh-born Sharma’s character is the last of the six women suspects. In the trailer, she claimed that this whole case is a setup in which she is being framed. The officer also threatened her and said, “You know that you can be shifted to the jail, right?”

The trailer of Six ended with the officer saying, “Game over”, which shows that the murder mystery has been solved. Six will be available to stream on Disney+ Hotstar Quix from May 27. Read more about the web series here.
