Madhuri Dixit with Fame Game, Raveena Tandon with Aranyak, Neha Dhupia with A Thursday, and Sushmita Sen with Aarya have all made strong comebacks on the OTT platform.
Female Actors to Make Their OTT Debuts in 2022:
Sonakshi Sinha
With her debut in Fallen, Sinha will make a mark on the OTT arena. She will be seen as Anjali Bhaati, a cop, in the series, which is based on the true incident of a Kerala man accused of multiple cases of wedding fraud and robbery. The series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. It is directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, and it will also feature Vijay Varma and Gulshan Devaiah in supporting roles. The actor also appeared in a supporting role in the film Bhuj: The Pride Of India on the OTT platform Disney + Hotstar.

Juhi Chawla
Juhi Chawla will appear in the Amazon Prime Video series Hush Hush. Soha Ali Khan, Karishma Tanna, and Kritika Kamra will also play important roles in the film. The series is described as a suspense drama that would promote the idea of women telling their own stories by focusing on a unique female viewpoint.
The Test Case (2017), an Indian web series starring Nimrat Kaur, Akshay Oberoi, Atul Kulkarni, Rahul Dev, and Anup Soni, also included Juhi Chawla as a guest appearance. Sharmaji Namkeen, which released on Amazon Prime Video on March 31, 2022, is her latest film. It is Late Rishi Kapoor's final on-screen appearance, and Juhi Chawla will play a supporting role.
Jaya Bachchan
After Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, veteran actor Jaya Bachchan is also scheduled to make her digital debut. The film, provisionally named Sadabahar, is being produced by Endemol Shine India and has already begun filming.
Shilpa Shetty
Sukhee, directed by Sonal Joshi and produced by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar's T-Series in collaboration with Vikram Malhotra and Shikhaa Sharma's Abundantia Entertainment, will be Shetty next feature. According to recent rumours, she plans to enter the OTT sector as well, with a show that will reportedly focus on women and will premiere in 2022. After a 14-year absence, Shetty returned in the multi-starrer film Hungama 2, which was released on Disney + Hotstar.
Kareena Kapoor Khan is also said to be making her OTT debut with the film, which will be an adaption of The Devotion of Suspect X. Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma will also star in the yet-to-be-titled film. The release date is yet to be announced by the makers. Her most recent film was Good Newwz (2019), and her upcoming film is Laal Singh Chaddha.
