The newly released trailer suggests that the premise of the series is kindling of young love and the heartbreaks that it brings with it. The 2.45 minute-long montage begins with introducing the characters while establishing their contrasting traits and giving the audience a glimpse of their backstory.
Speaking of the episode directed by her, titled Quaranteen Crush, filmmaker Tahira Kashyap Khurrana said, “Quaranteen Crush is a subtle love story that blooms while the world is experiencing a global pandemic. It is a simple story that speaks volumes about care, innocence and friendship”.
Director Danish Aslam who has helmed the queer love story, She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not, spoke up about his episode as well.
"This was one of those stories that pretty much wrote itself once the characters were fleshed out. And Saba & Sanjeeta looked like they'd strolled straight out of the pages into the frame. They're both equal parts mad and poignant, which is pretty much what love is most of the time," he said.
The six short- films are helmed by Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, Ruchir Arun, Anand Tiwari, Danish Aslam, Jaydeep Sarkar, and Sachin Kundalkar.
The ensemble cast of the anthology series includes Radhika Madan, Amol Parashar, Rohit Saraf, Saba Azad, Neeraj Madhav, Tanya Maniktala, and others in pivotal roles. The series Feels Like Ishq is slated to stream on Netflix on July 23.
