The action film franchise's new addition as the tenth instalment, Fast and Furious 9, is on the way.
The forthcoming film which could be titled F9 will connect to the other trilogy parts, Fast 10 and Fast 11. A short teaser of the latest instalment was shared on Twitter on May 11 through the official handle of the film.
The makers announced the release date in the recent tweet while mentioning that the much-anticipated film will take the franchise to "a whole new level". The film is scheduled to stream on Netflix on June 25. While a few new characters will be introduced in Fast and Furious 9, there are also actors who will reprise their role from previous films.

Here's what we know about the film Fast and Furious 9:
- Fast and Furious 9 will be the first entry in the final trilogy of the franchise, which was supposed to end with Fast 10 earlier.
-Filmmaker Justin Lin, who has directed and co-written Fast and Furious 9, will also remain in the director's chair for Fast 10 and Fast 11, too.
-In addition, there is an all-female spin-off in the works as well that might feature the Fast and Furious females.
-Charlize Theron, who first appeared in The Fate of the Furious as Cipher, a cyber-terrorist who blackmails Dom, will return in F9.
-Vin Diesel will be joined by mainstays Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Cardi B and Tyrese Gibson.
-Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, who starred in the Hobbs & Shaw spin-off won’t join the cast this time. John Cena will come in as a new addition, featuring as a villain, whereas Sung Kang will return as Han Lue.
