Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar Register Their Marriage In Mumbai

Farhan Akhtar-Shibani Dandekar court wedding registration took place on February 21 after their wedding ceremony in Khandala, Maharashtra last week. The couple did a photo session in matching pink outfits outside their home where they treated the paparazzi with sweets.

Farhan-Shibani got married on February 19 in an intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends including celebrities like Farah Khan, Rhea Chakraborty, Hrithik Roshan, Saqib Saleem, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and Farhan's sister and director Zoya Akhtar. After that, the couple and their guests posted pictures online giving fans a peek into the wedding ceremony.

Farhan-Shibani registered their wedding on February 21 in the court post and distributed of sweets to paparazzi outside Shibani's house in Bandra, Mumbai. Shibani had posted an Instagram story earlier in the day while getting ready for the registration and captioned it "Let's go!". Shibani wore a baby pink saree and a full sleeved blouse while Farhan matched the color of her outfit in pajama kurta. The couple was all smiles when they posed for the paparazzi.

Farhan and Shibani dated for four years before getting married in Khandala at a farmhouse. While Farhan wore a black tuxedo and a black bow for the wedding, Shibani wore a red off-shoulder gown with a veil. Filmmaker Farah Khan tagged Zoya Akhtar and Farhan Akhtar in one of the photos of the wedding ceremony she posted online and called it her brother's wedding. On Sunday, Shibani also posted a video where she was seen on a car trip showing off her ring.

Farhan was earlier married to Adhuna Bhabani and the couple had two daughters together- Akira and Shakya. They called it quits after 16 years of marriage, filing for a divorce in 2016. Shibani and Farhan reportedly met each other in 2015 on a reality show where he was a judge while she was a contestant. Post that the rumours of their dating started making rounds until they were confirmed in 2018 when the couple made it public by appearing together at Ranveer-Deepika's wedding.
