Farah Khan, DJ Aqeel announce separation; 8 Things To Know About The Jewellery Designer

Jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali, the sister of Susanne Khan has now confirmed her separation from her husband DJ Aqeel.

Farah revealed about this on Instagram by posting a photo with her husband. In the caption she mentioned 'happily separated', and that it was a mutual decision. "It has been 9 years since my relationship with my husband Aqeel changed its status as a couple to just friends and to term it simply would be to state that we are 'Happily Separated'," she said. She then went on to talk about their two children Azaan and Fizaa in the post. Many celebrities like her sister Susanne Khan, Dia Mirza, Sophie Choudhry, Neelam Kothari showed their support for the now-separated couple.

Aqeel, also shared the same statement on his account. "Sometimes two people grow apart. Sometimes they outgrow each other. It has been 9 years since my relationship with my husband Aqeel changed its status as a couple to just friends and to term it simply would be to state that we are ''Happily Separated''.
