Ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers reacts to Armie Hammer controversy on social media: Elizabeth Chambers has reacted to another social media scandal surrounding her former husband, actor Armie Hammer. Hammer was in news recently when chats that disclosed his alleged "cannibalism", rape and BDSM fantasies went viral.
On Thursday night, a Just Jared Instagram post announced the news that "Armie Hammer’s director and co-star from Call Me By Your Name (Luca Guadagnino and Timothee Chalamet)" are teaming up for an upcoming "cannibal love story" called Bones & All and shared a picture of the trio. "He’s not involved, just FYI," the report claimed, clearing the air on Hammer's involvement with the project.
Noticing the casting announcement, 38-year-old Chambers succinctly commented: "No. Words." While her reaction may come across as subtle to many, this is not the first time she has spoken out about the controversy surrounding the actor's alleged cannibal fantasies.
In its Instagram post, Just Jared shared that the project, a "cannibal love story movie," is a film adaptation of the Camille DeAngelis novel of the same name: Bones and All. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story will revolve around a woman who is "on a cross-country trip as she searches for the father she's never met in an attempt to understand why she has the urge to kill and eat the people that love her."

Why is Armie Hammer in news?
Hammer has been drowned in controversy after several alleged BDSM fantasies messages were leaked by an anonymous social media account, according to Page Six. The alleged messages included accounts of sexual acts, cannibal and other explicit fantasies that were allegedly traced back to Hammer. One of these messages sent to an unidentified woman allegedly read, "I need to drink your blood."
To which, Chambers had earlier said that she is "shocked and disgusted" by the messages that discuss his rape and BDSM fantasies. She further said that she was completely sickened after looking at the reported chats and that “Armie appears to be a monster”.
Hammer has been dropped out of several projects including the action-comedy Shotgun Wedding starring Jennifer Lopez and the upcoming Paramount+ series The Offer. Read more about the allegations against Hammer here.
Married for 13 years, Hammer and Chambers have announced their plans to divorce on July 10, with Chambers citing "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for their split. The couple has two children.
