The British actor was filming with co-star Lily James, who plays her daughter in the movie, while wearing an eye-catching traditional Indian outfit, as seen in a recent image of the movie's producers.
Along with Emma Thompson and Lily James, the romantic-comedy film also stars Indian veteran actor Shabana Azmi and Pakistani actor Sajal Ali. The movie also stars Shazad Latif, Mim Shaikh, Asim Chaudhry, Jeff Mirza, and Iman Boujelouah. The movie will make its international premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival 2022 on September 10.

What's Love Got To Do With It? chronicles the story of Zoe (Lily James), a dating app addict and documentary producer, whose experience with swiping right has never been nice. To the dismay of her mother, Cath (Emma Thompson), she has consistently matched with the wrong guys. Viewers also get to know Kaz (Shazad Latif), a neighbour and friend from Zoe's childhood who is letting his parents organise his marriage and find him a Pakistani bride.

Zoe wonders if she can learn anything from an arranged marriage that would help her find love on her own as she films Kaz's travel from London to Lahore to marry a total stranger chosen by his parents.
Nitin Sawhney composed the soundtrack for the movie, and it will also include songs by Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Indian singer Kanika Kapoor. The film is written by Jemima Khan. After directing the 2007 historical drama Elizabeth: The Golden Age, which starred Cate Blanchett, Shekhar Kapur has returned to the seat of director for this film. It's also his first time working with Shabana Azmi since their critically acclaimed 1983 family drama Masoom.
