Netflix has officially renewed Emily in Paris for a fifth season, with Lily Collins set to reprise her role as Emily. In exciting news, the OTT platform wrote in the caption, "it’s official: EMILY IN PARIS is coming back for season 5!"

The news was revealed by Collins herself during an appearance on Good Morning America, where she also shared an Instagram reel captioned, "There’s no place like Rome." Collins hinted at what’s next for her character, stating, "Marcello is a whole other adventure for Emily. We want her to find a better work-life balance and smile without conditions. This new chapter will show Emily beyond her vacation mode, and Marcello enters her life at just the right time."
This renewal comes just four days after Netflix released the second half of Emily in Paris's current fourth season on September 12. Emily completes her fourth stroll around Paris, this time with a little detour in Rome as well.
Emily is purely American in her ways and when you put a girl like that in France, she indeed faces a big shock. The cultural shock! But Emily in Paris is rarely alone. She has her charades with her neighbour. You can call him Gabriel, we call him Mr. Cute Chef. Throughout the four seasons, Emily has been oscillating between Gabriel and Alfie, a British gentleman. But we can't just blame Emily for this, Gabriel has been confused to his very core as well.
