New Challenges Await in Emily in Paris Season 4: Trailer Breakdown
The trailer picks up from the dramatic ending of Season 3. Emily (Lily Collins)is in turmoil after the chaotic wedding of Camille (Camille Razat) and Gabriel (Lucas Bravo). She has deep feelings for both Gabriel and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). However, things are complicated as Gabriel is now expecting a baby with his ex, and Alfie’s worst fears about Emily and Gabriel’s relationship have been confirmed.
At work, Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu) faces a dilemma from her past that threatens her marriage, while the Agence Grateau team deals with significant changes in personnel. Meanwhile, Mindy (Ashley Park) and her band are gearing up for Eurovision, but financial troubles force them to get creative with their resources.
Emily and Gabriel's undeniable chemistry is a focal point as they work together towards achieving a Michelin star for their restaurant. However, two major secrets threaten to unravel everything they have worked for.
The trailer also shows Mindy reminding viewers that Camille's decision at the end of Season 3 has paved the way for Emily and Gabriel to finally be together. Emily tries to tell Mindy about all the attractive men she saw on her morning run, but Gabriel’s unexpected appearance in the shower interrupts her. He asks, “You’re not with Alfie?” adding to the tension.
Emily's relationship struggles are further highlighted when her breakup with Alfie goes viral after they nearly kiss for an advertisement. Sylvie is furious about the negative impact on her business, telling Emily, "You broadcast your entire life for public consumption, and now it’s affecting my business."
Alfie also shares that he needs more time after Emily visits him during a boxing workout. Meanwhile, Emily's relationship with Julien (Samuel Arnold) is strained, as he is still upset with her for overshadowing him. He warns her at a tennis match, indicating that her interference has reached its limit.
Amid these tensions, Emily confronts Camille while they row boats, and when Gabriel tells Emily he is tired of all the secrets, she echoes his sentiment with a frustrated "So am I!"
Emily hints to Mindy that she might be ready for a new chapter in her life but admits that she still has strong feelings for both Gabriel and Alfie. She concludes with, “I promised myself I’d be open to any possibility,” as she looks between Alfie and Gabriel at a masquerade event, suggesting that she is still torn between the two.
