Lucien Laviscount Is Now A Series Regular, Will Reprise His Role As Alfie

Netflix dramedy starring Lily Collins has been renewed for two new seasons and fans have heaved a sigh of relief that they will not be left on the cliff-hanger and will receive their answers. Many are excited for the seasons to come through, however, it seems like it won’t happen anytime soon. Emily in Paris new season will see a new cast member as well.

Reportedly, Netflix announced the renewal recently and the filming for the upcoming seasons is yet to commence.

Emily in Paris Plot

The series is centred around Emily Cooper (Lily Collins), an ambitious marketing executive from Chicago who unexpectedly lands her dream job in Paris when her company acquires a French luxury marketing company and she is tasked with revamping their social media strategy.

However, things don’t go as planned and things go haywire for the young woman as she gets entangled in a love triangle. Although Emily’s getting better at navigating the city but still struggling with adapting to the peculiarities of French life. After stumbling into a love triangle with her neighbour chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and her first real French friend (Camille Razat), Emily is determined to focus on her work—which is getting more complicated by the day. In French class, she meets a fellow expat (Lucien Laviscount) who both infuriates and intrigues her.

Emily in Paris New Season Cast

Recently, it was confirmed that actor Lucien Laviscount will continue appearing in the forthcoming seasons of the series and has been promoted to a series regular. The makers of Emily in Paris made this announcement during a panel at Paley Fest.

Alfie (Laviscount) is an expat from London who is a sarcastic, charming cynic. The two met in French class and their friendship evolves into a romantic relationship.

Apart from Laviscount’s addition, the cast is expected to remain the same with Lucas Bravo starring as Gabriel, Camille Razat as Camille, Ashley Park as Mindy, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu will appear as Sylvie, Samuel Arnold as Julian and Bruno Gourey as Luc.
