Indian producer Ekta Kapoor marked her return to the microblogging social media site X (formerly known as Twitter), as producer announced, "So I am back on Twitter before my team shuts me out for talking too much." As social media these days is a great medium for audiences and celebrities to engage, the producer also engages with her online family.
The #AskMe trend is being followed by many celebrities on social media these days with Shah Rukh Khan being the King of the trend. However, Ekta Kapoor conducted a session to engage with her followers. There was a mix of responses by netizens, from savage responses to boldly talking about her latest film, Kapoor handled the session like a pro with her unapologetically humorous replies.
A user asked Kapoor, "Please stop making adult movies (with folded hands emoticon)" to which the producer humorously answered, "No! I am an adult so I will make adult movies."

Another user accused Karan Johar and Kapoor of "ruining the nation" as he tweeted, "Aap ne aur Karan Johar ne pure India ko bigada hai (you and Karan Johar have ruined the nation)" to which Kapoor replied with a big "hmmmm!"

The same user continued in the thread claiming that the two filmmakers are also responsible for rising divorce cases in India as he tweeted "Aap dono ki vajah se India me zyada divorce hone lage" translated as, "Because of you two there has been rising number of divorce in India" to which Kapoor again replied with double "Hmmm Hmmm!"

During her brief presence on the social media site, Kapoor also talked about her latest release Thank You For Coming as she wrote about the film raising"a huge question about how comfortable are we about women choosing themselves" asking "who decides how much freedom is allowed (the irony of this statement)."

The filmmaker talked more about the film and her co-producer Rhea Kapoor as Ekta Kapoor tweets in another tweet calling the film to be a "mad movie made by a mad partner Rhea" Kapoor adds "The film does not smash patriarchy but tickles with feathers under its nose so that all bullshit is sneezed out."

Thank You For Coming is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor along with the latter's parents Shobha and Anil Kapoor under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures, and Anil Kapoor Films & Communication Network. The film is helmed by Rhea Kapoor's husband Karan Boolani and is a sex comedy written by budding screenwriter Radhika Anand and Stand up comedian Prashathi Singh.
The film stars the strong female cast of Bhumi Pednekar, Shehnaz Gill, Kusha Kapila, Dolly Singh, Shibani Bedi, Karan Kundra, and Anil Kapoor and has hit the big screens on October 6.
