Social media influencer thesunshineladki shared a reel of Dua’s Mumbai concert, playfully captioning it, “SRK aya ya nai (sic).” Dua Lipa responded to the post, writing, “I had to; too much fun!! (sic).”

Some fans also pointed out that Dua not only included the viral mashup in her setlist but went a step further by learning Khan's dance moves from the song. She performed them live during her concert, perfectly matching the actor's steps, which delighted the audience.

Dua Lipa chose to do some similar steps to what SRK has done in the original song from the movie. During the mash up bit. ( didn’t realise it till someone put them side by side in this clip ).

In an earlier interview with Times of India, Dua expressed her amazement at the mashup. “I was blown away when I first heard the mashup of Woh Ladki Jo and Levitating. It was amazing!” she said. When asked about her favourite Indian actor, she said, “I love Shah Rukh Khan!”

Reflecting on her connection with India, the singer shared, “I have spent a fair bit of time in India, travelling and coming here for work, to see and visit. I am so taken aback by the culture, the energy, and the people that I keep coming back.” This marked Dua Lipa’s second visit to India for a performance, her first being at the OnePlus Music Festival in Navi Mumbai in 2019. See, this is what she put out as a photo dump from her second visit.

Abhijeet Bhattacharya’s Reaction To Levitating x Woh Ladki Jo

While fans celebrated the mashup, Abhijeet Bhattacharya, the original singer of Woh Ladki Jo, expressed his disappointment over not being credited for the song. His son, Jay Bhattacharya, also joined the debate, taking to Instagram to criticise the lack of acknowledgement for his father.

Jay’s Instagram story read, “The problem is that no one talks about it. What happened to Woh Ladki Jo- Abhijeet? Unfortunately, we live in a country where no one news outlet or Instagram page has mentioned the voice and the artists of this song. Why has it always been about actors in this country? I’m sure when @dualip heard this song, she must have heard it and not seen it and not appreciated the m that has sung this song, and yes, it is not SRK.”

Abhijeet supported his son by sharing the posts on his Instagram. However, their comments were met with criticism online, with fans accusing them of being “too salty” toward Dua Lipa and Shah Rukh Khan.
