Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the latest offering in the series. It will hit theatres on May 6 but has released in gulf countries on May 5. It is Marvel's first film this year and has had the internet in pure chaos. The sequel to Doctor Strange will see the reprisal of the iconic characters Doctor Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch and Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen.
In the last film, Doctor Strange had cast a forbidden spell, which led to the opening of the doorway to the multiverse and unleashes threats to be handled. These incidents had taken place in Spider-Man: Now Way Home in 2021. The sequel of Doctor Strange will show if Cumberbatch's character is able to undo the damages.
The film had its own share of troubles with release after Saudi Arabia revealed issues with certain parts of the film. The one particular scene which created controversy was of the character named America Chavez, who talks about being raised by two mothers. The general supervisor of cinema classification for Saudi Arabia Nawaf Alsabhan said that they wanted to cut the scene where she refers to having two mothers, although they had denied that the film is going to be outright banned. Although, Disney denied to comply with the request for the edits.

Applauding Olsen's performance, another user wrote, "Anyway hands down to Elizabeth Olsen's magnificent performance as Wanda Maximoff and the Scarlett witch in #MultiverseOfMadness."
A Twitter user wrote, "Elizabeth Olsen's performance in #MultiverseOfMadness is PHENOMENAL." Another user wrote that it is Olsen's best performance yet. "From her brutal, violent role to a caring mother and to a vulnerable, devastated witch. She put on an acting masterclass from start to finish. Give her all the awards SHE DESERVES!!"
