5 Disney Releases In 2024 That Will Delight Disney Buffs

Disney, renowned for its remarkable creations, has consistently delivered some of the finest works in animation and beyond. From the classic 'Snow White' in the 1930s to the modern masterpiece 'Inside Out' in 2015, Disney has crafted several iconic films throughout the decades. For those passionate about Disney, here's a sneak peek into five of the top releases from Disney in 2024.

The Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes 

The fourth part of the 'Planet Of The Apes series, 'The Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes', picks up generations after Caesar's death when the apes have established their realm over the planet. With the human species more or less wiped out, the apes now have to fight their own kind, this time in the form of Proximus Caesar, who leads the coastal clan of Apes in search of human technology. Produced by Wes Ball of the 'Maze Runner' fame, 'The Kingdom Of The Planet Of The Apes' is all set for a theatrical release on May 10.

Inside Out 2 

Inside Out 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed first movie of the same name about the emotions in the mind of a child, Riley, who is faced with difficult life changes. This time, with adolescence just around the corner for Riley and new emotions making an entrance, Inside Out 2 is set out to be Disney's biggest release this year.  Inside Out Two will be released on June 14 and feature stars like Amy Poehler, Phyllis Smith and Tony Hale. 

Deadpool & Wolverine  

The third part of the 'Deadpool' franchise, this movie would feature both Hugh Jackman's Wolverine and Ryan Reynold's Deadpool teaming up against a common enemy. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the meeting of two of the most iconic X-men, with the movie set to release by the 26th of July.  

Moana 2 

'Moana 2' is the sequel to one of Disney's biggest commercial hits in the past decade and follows the story of Moana as she travels into more dangerous seas for an adventure like never before. The first film followed Moana's journey as she learned to travel into the ocean to solve the problems that plagued her island. Moana 2 will be released on November 27th. 

Mufasa 

'Mufasa' is the much-awaited prequel to the 2019 live-action remake of 'The Lion King', and it tells the story of Mufasa before he became one of the most powerful rulers of Pride Lands. Aaron Pierre would voice Mufasa, Beyonce as Nala and her daughter Blue Ivy Carter as Kiara, Nala and Simba's daughter. 'Mufasa' will be theatrically released on the 20th of December.
