Dil Bekaraar, a web series based on the adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's novel Those Pricey Thakur Girls came out with its trailer on Monday.
The show revolves around the character Debjani Thakur played by Sahher Bambba and the journalist's role essayed by Akshay Oberoi. Bambba's character Debjanu Thakur is a newsreader at DD news. The actor had made her debut with Sunny Deol directional film Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. The show is going to release on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.

The show's premise is a love story in the 1980s where the couple find conflict in their relationship when the female lead finds about the person who wrote a bad review about her in the newspaper is none other than her love interest, a character played by Akshay Oberoi. What happens next will be revealed in the show.
The features Raj Babbar, Padmini Kohlapure and Poonam Dhillon in significant roles. However, there has not much been revealed about their characters on the show. In the trailer, the audience also got a glimpse of Chandrachur Singh in a blink and miss shot.
Bambba in her recent interviews has talked a great deal about her character in the show and her understanding of the fictional woman. She said that even Debjani Thakur is a character from the 80s, there is a lot for women to relate with her in the present day.
“While playing this character, I was surprised by how progressive she was for the times she comes from. The character has been written beautifully such that her progressive attitude and balance shines through. Working with stalwarts of the industry actor Raj Babbar, Poonam Dhillon and Padmini Kolhapure was an enriching experience. I can’t wait for the audiences to enjoy the madness of the Thakur khandan in Dil Bekaraar,” she said. Raj Babbar also said that playing the character of Lakshmi Narayan Thakur in the digital space has been a discovery for him as an actor. He said, "Playing this character in the digital space has been a discovery for me as an actor. This script delves into the backstory of the characters and his journey through the 80s was a rewarding experience to portray.”
Babbar's wife has been essayed by Poonam Dhillon.
