However, she doesn't die and returns as Jyoti, a model to take her revenge. She singlehandedly manages to teach a lesson to every person who did wrong to her. Ultimately, Sanjay has to meet the same feet as he wanted Arti to meet in the first place.

Sonika is the mistress of a political leader Mandar Mhatre. She falls in love with Akshay, a friend from her college. Unfortunately, Mandar kills Akshay and Sonika devises to take her revenge against him. Though the plot sounds clichéd it makes for an interesting watch if you love thrillers.
4. Section 375
Do women misuse the laws for the sake of revenge? You will get to know when you see Anjali Dangle filing a case against Rohan Khurana accusing him of rape in Section 375. The story is set up in such a way that we initially believe Anjali to be the victim at the hands of Rohan. But is it really so or is there more to the story? 5. Naagin
This 1976 film was inspired by the French film The Bride Wore Black based on Cornell Woolrich novel by the same name. It narrates the story of a vengeful female shape-shifting serpent. She takes different human forms to trick and kill a group of friends who murdered her lover at a hunting party. It became a blockbuster at the Box Office though woman-centric movies were not much in demand back then.
