Dia Mirza Shares Her Son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi's Picture On Social Media

Actor Dia Mirza shares a glimpse of her son Avyaan Azaad Rekhi with her fan's on social media.

Mirza who have birth to her son via an emergence c-section  on 14th March 2021 has shared a picture of her son on Instagram today. While the face of the newborn is not clear in the monochrome picture, in the image he can be seen resting on his mother's shoulder. The post is titled Our story has only just begun Avyaan 15.09.2021.

In the post accompanying the picture she thanked the doctors who helped them during the delivery and the early months. She also wrote, "Avyaan, you have taught us humility, grace, and power of prayer 🐯 Stay blessed baby. You complete us in every way. All our family and friends this time would not have been half as comforting without your strength and prayers. Thank YOU all. You know who you are 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻"

Several celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Diana Penty, Manish Malhotra have responded to the post. After an hour of being uploaded the picture has garnered love 60k likes. She had earlier shared a post and picture of her baby Avyaan, where his fingers were latched onto her own.

Dia Mirza becomes mom to a baby boy

Dia Mirza had earlier revealed that her baby was delivered prematurely and had to stay in neonatal intensive care (NICU) or the baby ICU. Mirza, in a note on Instagram announcing the baby’s birth wrote, “A sudden appendectomy during my pregnancy and a subsequent and very severe bacterial infection could have led to sepsis and proven to be life-threatening. Thankfully, the timely care and intervention by our doctor ensured the safe birth of our baby via an emergency C-section.”

The actor soon after her wedding to businessman Vaibhav Rekhi revealed that they are expecting their first child. After the news of the pregnancy became public Mirza was trolled severely. She clarified saying, “We discovered we were going to have a baby while we were planning our wedding. So this marriage is not the result of pregnancy… There must never be any shame attached to this beautiful journey… As women we must always exercise our choice.”
