Mirza's social media feeds are peppered with appreciation for nature and messages advising fans to go green as much as possible. In recent weeks, the Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein actor has been vocal against the controversial development project in the Andamans as well as helicopter tourism that disrupts wildlife.

Why is World Bicycle Day celebrated?
June 3 was recognised as World Bicycle Day by the United Nation three years ago in 2018. The resolution places focus on "the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle, which has been in use for two centuries, and that it is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transport."
Around the world, the day holds significance in promoting better health and ways of living, especially with a surge in fast-paced urban spaces. The bicycle is also promoted as an inclusive means of transport and health that people across ages, communities and genders can access.
