Today, on July 22, the OTT platform released the teaser and revealed insight into the crime series' narrative. The platform also gave a hint that the show will be released shortly. Posting the teaser. the platform wrote in the caption, "A terrifying menace has taken Delhi by surprise. Is the Delhi Police prepared to take on this new threat? #DelhiCrime Season 2 Coming Soon!"
The upcoming season is supposedly inspired by real-life events, just like its debut season, which won the best drama series award at the 48th International Emmy Awards in 2020.
Delhi Crime Season 2 Teaser:
The 56-second teaser for the upcoming season discusses the growth in crime in the city as a result of societal economic inequalities. In the upcoming season, DCP Vartika Chaturvedi and her team—the recently promoted Neeti Singh and Vartika's right-hand man, Bhupendra Singh aka Bhupi—will lead another vital investigation. Shah is heard stating in the concluding part of the ">teaser, "As the police force, hum aisa kya galat kar rahe hai, crimes kamm hi nahi ho rahe," (What a mistake we're making as a police force; crime isn't going down.) However, this year's specific case on which the series will centre has not been disclosed so far.

Shefali Shah is seen once more playing DCP Vartika Singh, with Rasika Duggal and Rajesh Tailang playing teammates. The second season will also include returning actors like Gopal Dutt, Sidharth Bhardwaj, Adil Hussain, and Anurag Arora.

The critically-acclaimed series Delhi Crime is set to return with a second season on August 26. The second season will be released on the OTT platform Netflix.
