She described the nomination as particularly special because it recognized her portrayal of Vartika Chaturvedi, a character she holds dear, in her favourite show, Delhi Crime 2. She dedicated the nomination to the entire team involved in the show.

The nominees' list was accompanied by a detailed note praising Shah’s performance in Delhi Crime Season 2. It's noteworthy that Delhi Crime Season 1 previously secured the International Emmy Award in the Best Drama Series Category back in 2020.
