The couple got married on November 14, 2018, in an intimate ceremony in Italy after dating for 6 years. They recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Belgium.
The Anticipation of Parenthood
As Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh completed five years of their marriage a few months ago, many fans have been wondering whether the couple will soon start having kids, as top celeb couples are already enticing their fans with their babies.

Deepika, who is the elder daughter of the famous badminton player Prakash Padukone, reflected on her upbringing by her father and mother, Ujala Padukone, and growing up with a younger sister with a five-year age gap yet sharing a good bond.

Padukone shared how when she visits her family and meets her extended family of aunts and uncles, she is never treated like an actor or a celebrity, but similarly to how they used to treat her before she became an actor. Padukone shared how the industry's glam can carry away anyone with its glitz and glimmer but gave credit to her family for keeping her grounded.
She shared how her family always talks about how she hasn't changed a bit despite being the superstar of the glam industry and says she is a daughter and a sister first, and these are the values that she hopes her husband, Ranveer Singh will inculcate in their children.
'DeepVeer Loves Children'
At this point, when asked if she was planning to become a mother, Padukone answered with a broad smile on her face, "Absolutely! Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we start our own family," she said, hinting to her fans about her family plans.
However, the actor did not give any updates about her plans to start a family or the couple's family plans.
