DeepVeer Planning Kids Soon? Deepika Padukone Drops Clues

During a recent interview with Vogue Singapore, actor Deepika Padukone talked about life and career and finally touched on the topics of family, children, motherhood, and family planning, along with sharing about her upbringing and how she is treated amongst her family after becoming a star. 

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the most popular and celebrated couples in the industry, with many fans calling them Deepveer. The couple got married on November 14, 2018, in an intimate ceremony in Italy after dating for 6 years. They recently celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in Belgium. 

The Anticipation of Parenthood

As Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh completed five years of their marriage a few months ago, many fans have been wondering whether the couple will soon start having kids, as top celeb couples are already enticing their fans with their babies. 

To all these brewing queries of their fans, Deepika Padukone finally opened up about how she and her actor-husband Ranveer Singh love children when asked whether they are planning kids, to which the actor answered, "Absolutely! We love kids." Padukone also shared how the couple hoped to inculcate in their kids the values she was brought up with.

Deepika, who is the elder daughter of the famous badminton player Prakash Padukone, reflected on her upbringing by her father and mother, Ujala Padukone, and growing up with a younger sister with a five-year age gap yet sharing a good bond. 

Family Values That Grounded Deepika

Padukone shared how when she visits her family and meets her extended family of aunts and uncles, she is never treated like an actor or a celebrity, but similarly to how they used to treat her before she became an actor. Padukone shared how the industry's glam can carry away anyone with its glitz and glimmer but gave credit to her family for keeping her grounded.

She shared how her family always talks about how she hasn't changed a bit despite being the superstar of the glam industry and says she is a daughter and a sister first, and these are the values that she hopes her husband, Ranveer Singh will inculcate in their children. 

'DeepVeer Loves Children'

At this point, when asked if she was planning to become a mother, Padukone answered with a broad smile on her face, "Absolutely! Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we start our own family," she said, hinting to her fans about her family plans.

However, the actor did not give any updates about her plans to start a family or the couple's family plans.
