All set in a lilac coloured pantsuit, actor Deepika Padukone has reached Hyderabad for a film's shoot. The actor will be making a film with director Nag Ashwin. It is a science fiction film, where the actor will be cast opposite Prabhas. The film also stars veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, with whom Padukone was last seen on the silver screen in the film Piku.

Deepika Padukone has reportedly begun shooting for the Telugu science fiction film called Project K. This is going to be Padukone's debut film in the Telugu film industry. Her last film 83 is scheduled to release on November 24, in theatres. In the film, she has played the role of Romi Dev, who is the wife of Kapil Dev. She is acting opposite her husband and actor Ranveer Singh, who is playing the role of Kapil Dev. The film is in remembrance of the 1983 cricket world cup that the Indian team won as underdogs in the entire season.
Deepika Padukone Telugu Debut: Project K
Giving a hint of her new Telugu project shoot, Padukone uploaded a picture on her social media, Instagram story. It had a platter of three different colours, three boxes of bangles along with a note. The note read, "To the daughter of the south, who's been ruling the hearts globally. To the princess of the nation, who's cherished as a treasure. Here's a warm, welcome home DP! Come, let's conquer the world together (three hearts drawn)." The note was from Vijayanthi Movies, which is an Indian film production house established in the year 1972 by C Ashwini Dutt.
The production house uploaded this note on their social media feed with the caption, "Welcome Queen @deepikapadukone (emoji), @actorprabhas, @amitabhbachchan @nag_ashwin @vyjayanthimovies #ProjectK"
The film Project K is being produced by Vijayanthi Movies with a reportedly big budget. The veteran filmmaker Singeetam Srinivasa Rao is reportedly going to mentor the team, while cinematographer Dani Sanchez Lopez and composer Mickey J Meyer will be part of the technical crew.
