The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles hosted the 95th Academy Awards presentation on Monday. Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone, a presenter this year, appeared on the Oscars 2023 stage to announce the live performance of RRR's Naatu Naatu and even gave a special mention, informing the audience about the song amid raucous applause.
This year's biggest award show in Hollywood featured Deepika Padukone among its presenters. Along with a long list of other stars who also presented, she was joined by Janelle Monae, Glenn Close, Dwayne Johnson, Michael B. Jordan, Jennifer Connelly, Zoe Saldana, Samuel L. Jackson, Riz Ahmed, and Melissa McCarthy.

Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava's live 'Naatu Naatu' performance at the Oscars was introduced by Deepika Padukone. She stated: "Electrifying beats, an unstoppably catchy chorus, and matching killer dance moves have made this song a worldwide hit. It plays during a crucial scene in RRR, a film about the friendship between Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, two real-life Indian revolutionaries. It not only illustrates the anti-colonialist themes of the movie and is sung in Telugu, but it's also a total banger!"
Additionally, she said, "On YouTube and Tik Tok, it has received millions of views. The first song from an Indian production to ever receive an Oscar nomination, it has audiences dancing in movie theatres across the globe. Do you know Naatu? Because if you don't, you soon will " A standing ovation was given after the performance.
