Dasara Teaser: Nani's Rugged Look Promises Rustic Action Film

Nani took to his Twitter handle to release the teaser of his upcoming film Dasara on Monday at 4.05 p.m. Sharing the teaser of the much-anticipated movie Dasara, Nani wrote, "2023 we have #Dasara. See you all in the stadiums (Theatres) on March 30th. #DasaraTeaser.''

Dasara is written and directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Cinemas. Dasara also marks director Srikanth Odela’s directorial debut.

The video shows Nani in a completely new, rugged look similar to Allu Arjun's in Pushpa. Nani is seen introducing his village, Veerlapalli, which is surrounded by coal mines. To the villagers of Veerlapalli, drinking liquor is more of a tradition than an addiction. From the look of the trailer, it looks like Nani, who is a coal mine worker, gets into trouble with some bigwigs, and how he manages to overcome the obstacles that come his way forms the crux of the story. There are punch dialogues and action sequences. Nani in his rugged and menacing avatar promises an action-packed rustic movie. Keerthy Suresh, who is cast opposite Nani in the film, is not seen in the ">teaser.

Dasara has garnered a lot of attention right from the beginning for Nani’s new rugged avatar. Nani, who has always had a charming, boy-next-door appearance, appears authentically rustic in his new look. From the posters, Keerthy Suresh is seen to sport a "pakka village girl" look. The movie is also anticipated by the audience for its music by composer Santhosh Narayanan.

Dasara Cast

Nani plays the protagonist, and Keerthy Suresh is assumed to play his love interest. The cast of Dasara also includes Samuthirakani, Dheekshith Shetty, Sine Tom Chacko, Sai Kumar, Shamma Kasim, and Sajol Chowdhury in supporting roles.

Dasara Release Date

Dasara will be released in theatres on March 30, 2023.

On the work front, Nani was seen in a cameo role in HIT: The Second Case, which he also produced. It is speculated that he will play the lead in the third instalment of HIT. Keerthy Suresh, on the other hand, has a busy schedule in 2023. She will be seen in Bhola Shankar, Maamannan, Siren, Raghu Thatha, and Revolver Rita.
