Actor, Television personality, stand-up comedian and writer Danish Sait got married to his fiancee Anya Rangaswami on Thursday, June 10, a day after the couple registered their marriage. Sait got engaged to Rangaswami in December of 2020 but had to push their wedding dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic and have finally tied the knot.
The actor shared pictures from his wedding on his Instagram and Twitter handles. The wedding took place on Thursday in the presence of 15 of their closest friends and family and was also streamed on a broadcasting platform for those who couldn't make it due to the COVID-19 protocols.
Director Saad Khan who was also present at the occasion and has known Sait for over nine years said that Rangaswami and Sait complete each other and are "so fabulous together". Khan also wished the couple on the occasion of their wedding.
Many people on social media along with Sait's fans are joyous on hearing the news and have congratulated the couple.
A Sharadhaa, who is the Principal Correspondent at The New Indian Express wished the couple on her Twitter account writing, "May the years ahead be filled with lasting joy."
Entrepreneur and speaker Karma Bhutia congratulated the couple saying, "All the best".
Journalist Nidhi Razdan also wished the couple a happy marriage along with both the doses of COVID-19. Her tweet read, "Many many congratulations to you both. Wish you lots of happiness and both doses of vaccine."
British Indian writer and journalist Tunku Varadarajan congratulated the couple saying, "My blessings to you and Mrs Sait, Danish-avre....."
People also congratulated the couple under Sait's wedding post on Instagram. Actor Rukshar Dhillon commented on the post writing, "Congratulations! God bless ❤️". While Indian cricketer Yuzuvendra Chahal who recently got married, wrote, "Congratulations guys".
