The makers have released a teaser for its upcoming season in which Mishra is seen preparing for his next case. The small teaser provides a glimpse of his clash with Lekha, a character played by Shweta Basu Prasad in Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach, who portrays an associate public prosecutor. The teaser also revealed that the series is soon going to be released on OTT.
Criminal Justice is a crime thriller legal drama web series, based on the same-titled 2008 British television series. Criminal Justice made its debut in 2019 and received a positive response from critics, praising the performances. The series was renewed for a second season, titled Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors, which was released in 2020. After a gap of two years, the series is now ready to come back with a third season

The teaser for Criminal Justice 3: Adhura Sach was released on Wednesday, August 3. In both the third and most recent seasons of the show, which has Pankaj Tripathi in the lead role, he returns as lawyer Madhav Mishra.
In the nearly 30-second clip, Tripathi is portrayed as a clever lawyer taking on one of the most challenging cases of his career. Madhav Mishra is back, as witty and cunning as ever. In the most recent season of his popular web series, Shweta Basu Prasad, who plays assistant public prosecutor Lekha, is seen calling on Madhav Mishra. In response to a question regarding his part in the series, Tripathi stated, "In the new season, he (Madhav Mishra) goes out on a new adventure, where he tests the boundaries of our laws. This season has a lot more to look forward to because Madhav Mishra is delving deeply into his clients' legal disputes. "
Speaking about Madhav Mishra's most recent case, the director, Rohan Sippy, stated, " Madhav Mishra this time challenges the judiciary and its limits by exposing a previously unseen aspect of our judicial system." He claimed that in the new season Mishra in the rawest state, "captures his conflict insightfully and sensitively."
The third season's release date hasn't been announced by the creators, but it will premiere exclusively on Disney Plus Hotstar.
