Collar Bomb Trailer Out: Jimmy Sheirgill And Asha Negi Starrer To Release On July 9

Collar Bomb trailer out: The trailer of Collar Bomb movie, which features Jimmy Sheirgill, Asha Negi, Rajshri Deshpande and Sparsh Shrivastav in the lead roles, was released on June 28. The film will have an OTT release on July 9. Sheirgill, who plays a celebrated cop Manoj Hesi in the film, shared the trailer from his oTwitter account.

Directed by Dnyanesh Zoting, Collar Bomb is about a town where a school full of kids gets taken hostage by a human bomb. As the story trailer unfolds we are told that the key to solving this mystery lies in the revered cop's own past, and reliving it may not be something he may enjoy. "Sometimes, you need to commit some crimes to fight crime. Collar Bomb, releases July 9," Sheirgill wrote about the thriller in his tweet.

Negi too took to her Instagram handle and shared the trailer writing, "ticking bomb. A hidden mastermind. And an explosive truth. Collar Bomb will blow your mind! Out on July 9! Mark your calendars."

Negi, who was seen in Abhay 2 and Ludo last year, called the OTT medium a "saviour" for actors and filmmakers. “Last year and this time too, there has been so much content to watch. The audience is definitely in for a treat. From an actor’s perspective, we are getting more opportunity, and most importantly, no one is boxed into a medium. If you are good at your job, you are appreciated as an actor, and not as a TV or film actor,” she recently told The Indian Express.

She had grabbed headlines after her breakup with fellow actor Rithvik Dhanjani last year. Meanwhile, Sheirgill, known for films like Saheb, Biwi Aur Ganster, Happy Bhag Jayegi and Tanu Weds Manu said that Collar Bomb is a "special project" for him as it's a "highly captivating thriller series" about an unimaginable hostage situation. Read more on the film here.
