The promo begins with ACP Pradyuman (Shivaji Satam) stepping out of a police car in the rain, holding an umbrella, and heading toward a bomb site. The tension heightens with a close-up of Abhijeet’s (Aditya Srivastava) determined gaze as the show’s iconic whistle-tune plays, transporting fans back to the intensity of CID’s crime-solving days.

Sony TV’s official Instagram shared the teaser along with an exciting note for fans: "Mark your calendars—October 26 will be a blast with a new promo drop." Fans are already counting down, eagerly awaiting to see what this fresh chapter holds for their favourite crime-fighting team.

Dinesh Phadnis

Actor Dinesh Phadnis, renowned for his role as Frederick in CID, has passed away. Phadnis portrayed the role of Fredericks, the jovial and innocent CID officer. His co-star Dayanand Shetty confirmed the news to the Indian Express, stating, "Dinesh passed away at 12.08 am." Earlier reports had speculated that Dinesh suffered a heart attack, but Dayanand Shetty clarified that Dinesh was actually dealing with liver damage, dispelling the rumours.

Vivek Mashru

Last year, a tweet featuring a passport photo of CID's Vivek went viral, sparking nostalgia among fans. The caption read, "If you know this person, your childhood was awesome." CID's Vivek is Vivek Mashru in real life and as per his LinkedIn profile, Mashru currently holds the position of Director at the Department of Common Core Curriculum at CMR University, located in Bengaluru. Grateful for the overwhelming love he received, the former actor expressed his heartfelt appreciation to netizens for their support and affectionate response.

Shraddha Musale

The character Dr Tarika was widely recognised for her beauty in the popular show CID. Interestingly, the actor portraying the role seems to have defied the ageing process. Alongside her CID fame, she has been involved in notable projects like All The Best, Khidki, and more. Currently, she is enjoying her life and actively sharing updates with her fans on Instagram. Ansha Syed, popularly known for her role as Inspector Purvi, showcased remarkable shooting skills on the television show CID.
