Chum Darang, an actor best known for portraying Bhumi Pednekar's love interest in Badhaai Do, is said to be dating someone in the modeling industry. According to a recent report, the actor is dating Hrishant Goswami, an ex-Bigg Boss contestant.

Chum Darang portrayed the love interest of Bhumi Pednekar in the film Badhaai Do (2022). Model-actor Darang appears to have found her a special someone off camera. According to a report, Darang is dating Bigg Boss 4 contestant and former model Hrishant Goswami. The two began dating shortly after the pandemic.

The report cited a source close to the couple who said, "They are very serious individuals who reside together. Chum is a very private person, so she might not discuss this. Their social circle is, however, fully aware of their affair."

Goswami, who also happens to be actor Vidyut Jammwal's cousin, is reportedly getting ready for his acting debut. The source continues, "To make his acting debut, he has been diligently honing his craft and building up his physique. He has not yet secured any projects, but he might do so soon. He wouldn't feel comfortable discussing his relationship."

Goswami is 38, while Darang is 31.

She began her career as a model. She competed in Miss Earth India, a beauty contest held in New Delhi, and was crowned Miss Earth Water. She also took home the Miss Tiara India International crown. She competed in Miss Asia World 2017, which was held in Lebanon. She was named the fifth runner-up and won the Miss Popular title there. Along with modelling, she has appeared in commercials with actors like Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh, among others. She had a small part in the movie Gangubai Kathiawadi and the series Paatal Lok.

On the other hand, Goswami won the 2004 Gladrags Manhunt competition to kick off his career, but he later travelled to the US and Nigeria to further his education. Later, he participated in numerous advertising campaigns and video jockeying, as well as numerous fashion runway shows. On Channel V, he had been the host of the programme Love Kiya Toh Darna Kya.
