Christina Ricci To Star In Upcoming Supernatural Thriller Monstrous

Christina Ricci: Actor Christina Ricci will be starring as the lead character in supernatural thriller Monstrous directed by Chris Sivertson.

Ricci is known for playing Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and Addams Family Values. She has received awards like National Board of Review Award for Best Supporting Actress and Satellite Award for Best Actress. Ricci has received nominations for the Golden Globe, Primetime Emmy, Screen Actors Guild, and Independent Spirit Awards.

Film Mode Entertainment will be handling international sales at the virtual Berlin market. They are in partnership with Screen Media which has acquired the world rights outside of North America, United Kingdom, Japan and the Middle East. High Octane has acquired the rights to the movie in North Africa, Japan, and the Middle East.

Colleen Camp is Ricci’s co-star in Monstrous and the movie will focus on a traumatised woman played by Ricci who flees from her abusive ex-husband with her son. Director Sivertson revealed in a statement that ““Carol Chrest created an iconic genre character who Christina Ricci brings to life in a mesmerizing and deeply emotional performance.”

Robert Yocum, Sasha Yelaun, B.I. Rosen and Johnny Remo are producing the film. Chris Sivertson, Adam Goldworm, Omer Paracha, Sean Reilly, Clay Epstein, Craig Albrecht, Carol Anne Watts, Adam Sigal, Galen Christy and Mark Silba will share the executive producer credits. Actor Christina Ricci is currently represented by Untitled Entertainment.
