Chorrii drops teaser! The film starring Nushrratt Bharuccha, Mita Vasisht is a remake of the critically-acclaimed Marathi film, Lapachhapi and has been directed by Vishal Furia.
The teaser sets an eerie setting. Bharuccha wants to run away from something and ends up in an abandoned village. Most of the teaser shows her with a baby bump and gives us glimpses into mysterious happenings around her. The teaser is certainly gripping. The Hindi film which also stars Saurabh Goyal, Rajesh Jais, Pallavi Ajay, Yaaneea Bharadwaj is directed by Vishal Furia and written by Vishal Furia. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Jack Davis, Shikhaa Sharma, Shiv Chanana.

Chorrii was shot in Madhya Pradesh and Mumbai. Actor Nushrratt Bharuccha earlier had given a sneak peek to the film she shared on Instagram a poster of a woman clad in a red lehenga holding on to her baby bump. She captioned it: "The new face of horror is coming to haunt us! #ChhoriiOnPrime, this November." Bharuccha has been part of some popular films like 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama', 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety', 'Dream Girl." In an earlier interview, she revealed that she watched 10 horror movies back to back to get in the zone for Chorrii. Further adding, "These movies scared me so much, that I almost couldn't sleep for those 10 nights, but I think I needed it to set into that mind space for my character and my prep."
Mita Vashisht is a popular theatre and film actor in India who is a graduate of the National School of Drama. She played Trishna Agarwal in Ekta Kapoor's famous show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
