Charu Asopa Accuses Rajeev Sen Of Domestic Violence And Verbal Abuse

Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen, who got married in June 2019 but were on the verge of divorcing two months prior due to personal differences, decided to give one more chance to their marriage. However, they soon got into a disagreement yet again.

Recently, Charu Asopa claimed Rajeev Sen blocked her on Instagram, and she removed all of his photos from the platform. They appear to have given up on trying to keep their marriage together, so they have chosen to move ahead with the divorce. But despite their marital conflict, it's their constant fights and patch-ups that have everyone talking. Asopa claims that her marriage has hit a low point, and she is determined to get a divorce.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Asopa revealed that she would begin the divorce process and hoped Rajeev Sen would consent without creating more trouble. The actor talked about her failed attempt saying, “No one gets married with an intention to end it. I didn’t want to regret my decision of calling it off. So, I tried everything I could to save it, also because this was my second marriage. I think we are not made for each other...this marriage will never work.”

Charu Asopa Accuses Rajeev Sen Of Raising His Hands At Her:

She said that Sen's habit of disappearing right after a fight was the issue. She claimed that ever since they were married, they had been arguing nonstop. Following every argument, he would disappear for weeks or months while blocking her off from all forms of communication, keeping her from contacting him or learning of his whereabouts.

The actor said that she was left alone during those "difficult" days when he left the house three days before the lockdown. She stated, "I realised that he is 45 and I can’t change him. We had a lot of issues, but I was hoping for them to get resolved for the sake of our daughter Ziana. Unfortunately, that didn’t happen.”

Charu Asopa also claimed that Sen has raised his hands at her twice and has verbally abused her. She also added that when she was filming for Akbar Ka Bal Birbal, Sen sent messages to her co-actors to stay away from her. Asopa continued by saying that she would soon initiate the divorce process, since she regretted her decision to give the marriage another try.
