In Pics: Celebs Spotted For 'Pran Pratishtha' Ceremony In Ayodhya

The inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is a momentous occasion, drawing millions of devotees and several prominent celebrities from across India. Here are some of the notable celebrities who graced the event with their presence

Film stars and Bollywood celebrities have started arriving at Ayodhya ahead of the Ram Mandir inauguration. From Amitabh Bachchan to Rajnikanth, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif-Vicky Kaushal and many other celebrities were spotted at Mumbai and Chennai Airport.

As the nation rejoiced and decked up in the festivities of the mega Ram Mandir inauguration event that can be seen as a vast cultural event in the country, many celebrities are also participating from cleanliness drive to attending the ceremony as invited dignitaries. Here is the list of celebrities:

Celebrities Attending Ram Mandir Inauguration Ceremony In Ayodhya:

Bollywood: 

Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan: Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan was spotted at Mumbai airport on Monday morning in a white kurta pyjama and an off-white coat as his car arrived at the airport before the actor left for Ayodhya to attend the Ram mandir ceremony. The actor was seen with son Abhishek Bachchan later at Ayodhya temple.

Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Kapoor: The power couple were spotted at Mumbai airport ahead of the Ram Mandir ceremony as the actors were amongst the list of invited dignitaries. Ranbir Kapoor was seen wearing a dhoti kurta along with a shawl while Alia Bhatt draped a blue saree along with the shawl and a similar purse.

 

Vicky Kaushal & Katrina Kaif: The newlyweds made their way to Ayodhya for the special occasion. The two were spotted complimenting each other's look as Kaif wore a silk yellow saree while Kaushal donned in chudidaar off-white kurta pyjama with a heavy dupatta.

Randeep Hooda & Lin Liashram: The freshly wedded couple expressed their joy before leaving for Ayodhya chanting 'Jai Shree Ram' as the two were spotted in quite casual attire to attend the Ram mandir ceremony but expressed their joy while Lin shared they will also pray for Manipur and its peace.

Ayushmann Khurrana: Known for his social commentary films, Ayushmann is also seen in a photograph with celebrities together at Mumbai airport leaving for Ayodhya as the actor donned his traditional look wearing a heavily embroidered kurta with a maroon overcoat and a pale shawl perfectly complimenting his look. 

Madhuri Dixit & Shriram Nene: The actor and her husband were also spotted in the photograph with other celebrities at Mumbai airport wearing traditional attire where Dr Nene donned a red kurta pyjama while Madhuri Dixit graced a mustard yellow saree with a shawl.

Rajnikanth and Dhanush: The superstars Rajnikanth and Dhanush left for the ceremony a day before, as the two stars were stormed by the crowd as they were spotted at Chennai airport to leave Ayodhya ahead of the ceremony.

Jackie Shroff: Actor Jackie Shroff who was earlier spotted participating in a cleanliness drive was spotted outside the Ram Temple at Ayodhya.

Kangana Ranaut: The outspoken actress was one of the first to congratulate Prime Minister Modi on the inauguration and reportedly reached Ayodhya before the ceremony to participate in a cleanliness drive as well. The actor was spotted cleaning the temple in a saree. She was also spotted in a selfie with filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar.

Ram Charan & Chiranjeevi: Telugu megastar Chiranjeevi along with his superstar son Ram Charan were spotted at Hyderabad airport to leave the city with their families to attend the ceremony at Ayodhya. 

Anupam Kher: Anupam Kher among the many dignitaries was also spotted at the airport to attend the Ram Mandir ceremony at Ayodhya.

Mohan Joshi: Actor Mohan Joshi was also spotted outside the temple getting emotional as he expressed his rejoice attending the ceremony and homecoming of Lord Ram.

Vivek Oberoi and Sonu Nigam: Singer Sonu Nigam and actor Vivek Oberoi were seen in a selfie video together in saffron outfits outside the Ram temple at Ayodhya.

Singer Kailash Kher: Renowned for his devotional music, Kailash Kher is also to be attending and performing at the event.

Filmmakers:

Rajkumar Hirani & Rohit Shetty: Filmmakers Raj Kumar Hirani, Rohit Shetty and Mahivir Jain were spotted in the group photograph along with other celebrities leaving from Mumbai airport to Ayodhya soon. 

Sports Personalities:

Sachin Tendulkar: Legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar is reported to be amongst the VIP guests invited to the ceremony as the cricketer was spotted at the Mumbai airport to leave for Ayodhya this morning.

PV Sindhu: PV Sindhu was also spotted outside the Ram temple at Ayodhya calling it a "big day" and expressing her gratitude to be invited. 

Mithali Raj: Former cricketer was also spotted outside the Ram temple at Ayodhya expressing her joy to be invited to the celebrations that the whole nation is celebrating.

Anil Kumble: Veteran cricketer Anil Kumble was also spotted at the event and scene outside Ayodhya temple.
