Korean series 'Our Blues' To Premiere On April 9, Meet The Cast Of Series

Our Blues Release Date, Cast of Our Blues
The South Korean drama enthusiasts across the globe are excited as tvN’s new drama Our Blues is all set to premiere on April 9. The drama that will be streaming on Netflix, is an anthology-like series, which relays stories of various people residing on Jeju Island in South Korea. The drama will air on Saturdays and Sundays replacing the heartwarming drama Twenty-Five, Twenty-One that ended last Sunday, April 3.

Written by Noh Hee Kyung, the writer who wrote hit shows like Dear My Friend, That Winter, The Wind Blows, etc, this will be the first show where real-life actor couple Kim Woo-Bin and Shin Min-Ah will star together which has left many of the couple’s fans eager for the show to premiere.

Woo-Bin and Min-Ah, who was last seen in the series Hometown Cha Cha Cha, have been dating since 2015. The drama also marks Kim Woo-Bin’s comeback. Reportedly, fans are excited about the drama regardless of the fact that the two actors will not be sharing the screen space.

The official description of the drama reads, “Romance is sweet and bitter -- and life is riddled with ups and downs -- in multiple stories about people who live and work on bustling Jeju Island.”

The Cast of Our Blues

The series stars seasoned actors from the Korean Entertainment Industry apart from Woo-bin and Min-Ah. The members of the cast include Lee Byung-Hun, Cha Seung-Won, Lee Jung-Eun, Han Ji-Min and Uhm Jung-Hwa.

Reportedly, Lee Jung-Eun will essay the character of a fish shop owner who unexpectedly is reunited with her first love Choi Han Soo (Cha Seung-Wan) after three decades when he returns to his hometown, Jeju.

The story will also revolve around other characters Lee Dong Suk (Lee Byung-Hyun) and Min Sun Ah (Shin Min-Ah), Lee Young Ok (Han Ji-Min) and Park Jung-Joon (Kim Woo-Bin).

BTS Jimin's Debut OST Song

The drama is even special for fans of K-pop boy band BTS as it will mark the debut of the band’s member Jimin who has lent his voice for an OST track (Original Sound Track). This will be Jimin’s first time lending his voice to a drama OST. Last year, Jin released the soundtrack Yours for tvN’s Jirisan while V sang Christmas Tree for SBS’s Our Beloved Summer.
