Call My Agent Trailer: The trailer for the upcoming web series Call My Agent: Bollywood was released on October 8. The show features a long lineup of Bollywood celebs and actors, in special appearances and promises to give a look into how films are made, from the perspective of agents who manage stars.
Call My Agent: Bollywood features Ahana Kumra, Soni Razdan, Ayush Mehra and Rajat Kapoor in the lead. The series is an Indian adaptation of French comedy show Dix Pour Cent (Call My Agent!) which premiered in 2015. It has been written by Abbas and Hussein Dalal and directed by filmmaker Shaad Ali, who is known to have directed Hindi films like Kill/Dil, OK Jaanu and Soorma.
The show will have special appearances from Bollywood stars like Lara Dutta, Farha Khan, Dia Mirza, Akshara Haasan, Jackie Shroff and Richa Chadha.
What is Call My Agent: Bollywood about?
The show revolves around a talent management agency that is struggling for survival after the demise of its founder. From pulling off casting coups to pacifying celebrity egos, these four Mumbai-based talent agents hustle non-stop to save their sinking company, producing some amusing results. The agency faces a threat as stars begin to leave, putting a question mark on the future of its employees. Will its four-star employees be able to save this sinking venture and pull off last minute stunts, Bollywood style?
