The popular Netflix series Brigerton by Shonda Rhimes has been renewed for a season two. The official handle in the name of the web series shared the news on social media.
Considering the popularity of the show, it comes hardly as a surprise that the series will continue with more season on the streaming platform. The mysterious character of the show named Lady Whistledown released a letter in which the upcoming developments in the series were teased.
It is also said that Jonathan Bailey's character, Lor Anthony Brigerton will become an essential part of the second season. The first season was dominated by the romantic relationship between Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page)
The letter did not disclose any further details as the character said," I am disinclined to report on the particulars at this time.”
“Patience, after all, is a virtue,” Whistledown added.
The series reached about 63 million member households in the first four weeks after its release. The plot of the series was highly appreciated and some also called it a love child of Gossip Girls and Downton Abby.
