Bridgerton season 2 release time announced by Netflix, much to the relief of the fans, finally bringing an end to a long wait. The much-awaited season 2 of Bridgerton which was announced on January 2, 2021, is all set to release on March 25, 2022, after a long wait since season 1 first premiered on Netflix.
Bridgerton, is a period drama that first premiered back on December 25, 2020. Season 1 followed the story of the eldest daughter of the Bridgerton clan, Daphne, and her love story arc with Duke of Hastings. The second season, however, is all set to shift focus on the Bridgerton siblings, mainly Anthony and his life. Season 2, will also be reportedly shedding light on the background of the Featheringtons, thanks to the cliffhangers in season 1.
Bridgerton was renewed for a second season in 2021, along with a third and fourth season in the future. However, filming has only been done for the second season as of right now. Filming for the next two seasons is yet to begin.
Bridgerton season 2 release time: All we know
Netflix confirmed that Season 2 of the Bridgerton, which is based on Julia Quinn’s second novel titled The Viscount Who Loved Me, will release On March 25, 2022. Season 2 will debut at almost the same time all around the world, at 3 am ET / 12 am PT. This means that Bridgerton will be released in India at 12:30 pm IST.
Marking Shonda Rhimes' first venture with Netflix, Bridgerton season 2 is all set to give us more intense and juicy drama this season. Season 2 much like season 1 will be rightly women-centric, as shown in the ">trailer, with its ahead of the times feminist narrative. Exciting new cast will also be joining aboard, which has also created all the buzz in the fans
As per reports, In Bridgerton season, Antony Bridgerton will as the most eligible bachelor of the season when he finally set out to find a debutante. This season will also be reportedly showcasing a love triangle between Anthony Bridgerton and sisters Kate and Edwina Sharma portrayed by Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandran respectively.
Ahead of Bridgerton season 2’s arrival, it was revealed that the season will have a total of eight episodes. The finale episode is named after the book the season is based on. The episodes titles revealed are:
