Today is Brahmastra Day. All the anticipation is over now that Ayan Mukerji's fantasy action drama, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, has been released. Now that Mukerji's labour of love is out for everyone to enjoy, those who have already seen it are sharing their honest and varied thoughts.
In addition to Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, other actors who appear in the movie include Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo role. The movie, which is set in the current era, primarily tells the tale of the most potent weapon, Brahmastra, while also focusing on a love story that is entangled in a conflict between good and evil, right and wrong, and most importantly, desire and responsibility. A DJ named Shiva (Ranbir Kapoor) is aware of his abilities but chooses to suppress them. The orphaned boy falls in love with Isha (Alia Bhatt) and decides to lead a normal life. But despite his resistance, fate leads him on a journey of strength and passion, as well as acceptance and understanding.
Brahmastra's extensive post-production time and high cost are supposedly partially caused by the film's creators' years-long labour on the VFX. The VFX has received praise from many viewers, and all the credit for them should go to the VFX partners DNEG and ReDefine, as well as the action and stunt designers Dan Bradley, Diyan Hristov, and Parveez Sheikh.
Brahmastra Twitter Review:
- Arjun remarked, "Impressive chemistry between Ranbir and Alia… Terrific Visuals…Hollywood level… Screenplay was outstanding…. Ayan Mukerji never disappoint me honestly.
Definitely watch Brahmastra at your nearest movie theater"
- MD Shopon remarked, "Finally watched the movie. Not expected the worst level of screenplay. The story is not up to mark. The only best thing in the movie is SRK's cameo. The run time could have been trimmed 20-25 minutes. Rating- 1 / 5 "
- One user wrote, "One-word Review: MESS Brahmastra: ½ (1.5/5) Brahmastra Review Right from the opening scene lacking in connect with the audience. 30 mins story stretched into a 2.5hr movie. A few bright spots can't save it from clunky writing. Highly disappointed Wasted a stellar cast."

- Kumar Swayam remarked, "Brahmastra Review: The best thing is AyanMukerji has utilised each actor in a good way. For eg: Nagarjuna's character is very good & is not a filler to make the film star-studded His words for VFX stand true & visually Brahmāstra stands out."
- Lakshay Chaudhary remarked, "BrahmastraReview VFX- 10/10 Story- 9/10 Screenplay/Dialogues- 5/10 A bit 2013 cringey romantic ones Overall one-time watch and entertainment package. i didn't find anything against our religion or disappointed in this film plus its promoting our core Dharma."
- Sumit Kadel remarked, "This film is a personification of DISASTER. Horrible VFX & direction, not even a single scene evokes goosebumps rather it is bound to give you a headache throughout the run time. A blot on filmography."
