5 Bollywood Songs Remake That Were Loved By Fans

Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel will be reprising their iconic roles as Tara Singh and Sakeena in Gadar 2 and its song Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava released recently, making fans drool over the nostalgic remake. Here are other song remakes that the listeners loved.

Song remakes are a really tricky task as often makers and composers do not succeed in creating the magic that the original song did. These songs have a fanbase that expects a lot when it comes to remake but at times they get disappointed for getting a not-up-to-the-version, an example is the remake Pasoori Nu from Satya Prem Ki Katha that fans found distasteful.

However, the remake of Udd Jaa Kaale Kaava from 2001 movie Gadar for its sequel Gadar 2 left fans reminiscing about the iconic movie. The  fans loved the flashbacks and moments from the original song from Gadar as well as the voices of original singers Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. 5 Good Bollywood Songs Remake

Main Khiladi

This song from Selfie is the remake of the popular song Main Khiladi Tu Anari from Akshay Kumar's 1994 film of the same name. The song features Nushrratt Bharuccha, Diana Penty along with Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. The song has the original lyrics and singer Udit Narayan with minor changes in music but the overall feel of the song remained the same and the audience loved it.

Jehda Nasha

This song by Amar Jalal Group and Faridkot trended on social media as many people made reels on it. When the news of the song being remade for An Action Hero came out, fans were skeptical if the makers would stay true to the authenicity of the Punjabi song. However, the remake, with the voices of Manike fame Yohani, Amar Jalal, IP Singh and Harjot Kaur and featuring Nora Fatehi and Ayushmann Khurana, impressed fans by staying true to its vibes.

The Humma Song

Another iconic song that's remake was iconic too, the song Antha Arabic Kadaloram from 1995 film Bombay was a milestone. As a tribute to A R Rahman's composition and the song's immense popularity, its remake by Tanishk Bagchi featured in 2017 film Ok Jaanu, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. The remake's music, visuals and lyrics were loved by the audience.

Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag

Mika Singh's energetic vocals are the life of every party of Punjabi DJ night. The world was not yet over Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag when it's remake from Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam's Ginny Weds Sunny came out. The song was also remade for Kiara Advani and Aditya Seal's Indoo Ki Jawaani and both the versions were loved by the audience.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Title Track

Hare Ram Hare Ram from Akshay Kumar's Bhool Bhulaiyaa was a true gem and when the movie's sequel was announced with Kartik Aaryan, the fans expected it to return. The remake was a  reprised version that did not alter the composition a lot. On top of that, Kartik Aaryan's iconic footwork saved this remake from being another failed attempt.
